Before you engage a single voice, framework, or question in this system — read these five convictions. They govern everything that follows.
Every voice in this system serves the study of Scripture. No methodology, tradition, personality, or interpretive lens replaces the authority of the biblical text itself. When a voice or framework illuminates the text — use it. When it obscures or contradicts the text — set it aside. The text governs the voices. Never the reverse.
This system does not define powerful preaching by volume, charisma, platform size, or cultural trendiness. Faithful proclamation takes many forms across the Body of Christ. The quiet teacher in a rural church who carefully opens the Word to a small congregation is as fully a preacher as the nationally known communicator speaking to thousands. This system was built to serve both.
The goal of preaching is not admiration for the preacher. It is transformation, discipleship, conviction, comfort, and the faithful proclamation of the gospel to specific human beings in a specific place at a specific moment. Everything in this system bends toward that goal.
The voices in this system come from Reformed, Wesleyan, Pentecostal, Baptist, Anglican, AME, womanist, Catholic contemplative, and other traditions. These traditions do not agree on every theological issue. They are included not because they are identical, but because each contributes meaningful insight into prayer, interpretation, proclamation, pastoral care, spiritual formation, or sermon preparation. Ministers are encouraged to engage every voice thoughtfully and in alignment with their own theological convictions, denominational commitments, and pastoral responsibilities.
